Windows 11 Could I install a higher capacity SD card than advertised?

I have just ordered the Geopad 220 with 64gb of storage. This is not an issue as I have ordered an 128gb SD card from SanDisk extreme that should do the trick. However, the maximum capacity is 128gb in the slot. If I ordered a 256gb SD card, what's stopping it from working?
