This is a strange one...
My CPU will jump to 100% usage when I open something like OneNote, Teams, Brave Browser, and certain games, upon reaching 100% usage it will force close them and it refuses to allow me to open them at all.
Now, here's where it gets weird, I can use Chrome but I can't use Edge, or Brave, it just closes them immediately after opening them. I can use Word but not OneNote.
Finally the weirdest part, I CAN PLAY STEAM GAMES BUT NOT ANYTHING ELSE, what is wrong? I can play any game that I have on steam but if its on a different launcher it will immediately close it before it even opens fully. The CPU will still run at 90% when playing them but frames don't drop and it runs smooth.
Alright, here's where its downright confusing.
Sometimes, it works completely fine, no spikes, everything opens and works fine, no spikes, no frame drops, and nothing crashes. This issue only occurs when I power off the computer fully or restart it for an update, this issue also only started after a windows update that came about 2 weeks ago.
I have no clue what happened or if it was something I did. I generally know a good amount about computers, at least at a hardware level, but software is just not my thing.
Is there anything I can try to fix this issue?
