I have configured the below registry value in my Windows 11 user profile to change the default window color from 255 255 255 (i.e. white) to 192 192 192 (i.e. a not so bright on the eyes grey). Excel is much easier on the eyes with this setting (unless a white fill cell shade has been applied). However, after a while, if I close Excel, and re-open Excel, it reverts back to the bright white default setting. If I logoff and back on again and open Excel in a timely manner the custom window colour is successfully applied again. The problem appears linked to my Microsoft Personal account, as th
