I am unable to launch any Virtual Machines using VmWare Workstation Player on Windows 10 1809 x64 on a Dell Latitude 7490 laptop. I receive the following error.
I have tried every solution I saw online with no success. After taking all the steps described below I tried updating to Windows 10 1903, tried all the same steps and still had no luck. I also tried VirtualBox where I didn't get any errors Virtual Machines would not launch, the screen just stayed black. I am out of ideas and looking for assistance.
I use windows defender for security, I tried turning windows defender real-time protection off and still receive the same error in Vmware.
I do not use hyper-v
Core Isolation / Memory protection was already turned off
I tried turning Core Isolation / Memory Protection on so that I could turn it off but I wasn't even able to turn it on.
Bios - Virtualization is both supported and enabled
Group Policy - I own and manage my computer. There is no group policy on this pc.
Manage Windows Defender Credential Guard (Windows 10) | Microsoft Docs
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off - This didnt work
