Ongoing issue I have yet to be able to resolve as well as other users.
Ambiguous match on an older drive that worked a few months ago, I'm sure I've updated my pcs since then (x2 2019 razers)
Just trying to transfer the data on this drive to a newer one lol
Drive turns on, discs spin, lights come on. No power issue
Device shows in the drives menu in the taskbar
Shows up in device manager
I've checked my registry key, the value is 3
Unplugged all other potentially conflicting usb devices
My particular drive says the driver is up to date and I can't find evidence of a newer one so far, the most up to date one Windows says is up to date is from 2006
Tried all ports on both laptops not sure if its a firmware thing with the usb ports?
Willing to try anything please. Thanks
