Windows 10 Dictation Commands do not work in Microsoft 365

I have been using the Dictate option in Word 365 for a while. Within the last couple of weeks the Editing commands, such as Delete or Backspace, have ceased functioning. The dictation part works fine, but when I use Edit commands they are typed out rather than implemented. Is there a fix for this?
