Windows 11 Direct X error 6418 still happening and the fixes here don't work. Please help

The error is: <verify>G: live/eq2/framework/core/devices/DirectX9RenderDevice.cpp6418 DirectX Error. (error)swap the / the other way. The Game is Everquest 2. Running on Windows 11 KAMRUI AK2PLUSThe Launcher and Settings are fine. It lets me in the game but then crashes with the above fatal error every time. The video driver is updated Intel on board. The Direct X version is 12. The game is looking for version 9 and not finding it.
