Windows 10 DirectX won't install. An internal system error occured.

Trying to install/update Directx and keep getting this error:An internal system error occured. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem.I've tried the regedit fix, tried sfc /scannow, turned off anti-virus/firewall and most other "fixes" that come up in search results, and have had no luck. Help me please?
