Hello community, greetings,

I have a question about my disk size which decreases in a sudden, here is the condition and chronology;

Conditions:

- my HDD separated into 3 parts: C (system), E, F.

- I noticed my C size is about 30GB left from 194Gb and has blue bar indicator.

- I am aware my E has 8,... GB space left and I installed steam library on E

- disk F has about 30 or more GB space.

chronology:

-so, I am about to update files from steam, which is located on disk E, and then a notification appears on steam says that my disk has not enough space.

-I look into my disk E and realise it is 8 GB left so I try to migrate some files from E to F.

-I pick some files from E and its about 30 GB, then copy them to F.

- apparently, 30 GB are too big for F to receive, the notification says not enough space on F.

- So, I cancel copying when it's about 50% or more.

- when I headed to "this computer" which displays all drives sizes, it says my C only have 2,9 GB left (before 30 GB or more).

prevention:

- I have done cleaning cache from CCleaner, disk clean up, and even disk defragment.

- I also conducted "disk checkup", and it says nothing wrong with my disk.

- and I've tried to seek some temporary file and folder inside "USER-username-app-temp) no files have large size there.

can anyone help me with this? I don't know whether a steam update or copying files that cause the problem.

I am sorry with my grammar and spelling if there was any mistake,

any suggestions would be helpful.

good day, thank you.
