Windows 10 disk system failure after August 2021 update

i started my laptop today and was greeted with a bios screen saying my disk was about to fail and that i should back up before preforming a diagnostics test to determine if it will still be functional. No performance issues with the exception of 100% disk usage after the last update . Ressearching the problem i was able to get the disk usage back to normal by disabling 'sysmain' and 'windows search'. v worried -- anyone know why it keeps doing this after updates?
