Windows 11 Diskpart not listing internal disk volumes from Windows 11 USB boot

I have a brand new laptop with Windows 11 Pro and am running Hyper-V server and trying to creat a fresh Windows 11 Hyper-V guest VM per: Create Windows 11 Virtual Hard Disk (VHDX) at Boot to Native Boot, when booting from the SD card that has the Windows 11 installation media, and pressing shift + F10 to get the command prompt, and then diskpart and then "list volume", the only volume that is displayed is the that of the SD card.Why are none of the volumes on the internal SSD being displayed?Is this a security issue...I.e. do I need to disable
