Windows 11 Display brightness buttons not working

Hello,I am trying to use the display brightness function keys however it is not working. The display brightness control pop up shows and progresses (not fully to 100%) but does not change brightness.If I change it manually via the taskbar control slider window it works.All keyboard drivers are up to date, windows is updated and I have restarted multiple times.Laptop model: Asus Vivobook 15 S (Ultra 7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD)
