Windows 10 Display/monitor runs on CPU instead of GPU

Hello, I heard that if you set your display/primary monitor to run on the GPU, which in this case is my GeForce GT 820M, it will improve overall performance and/or make the display refresh a bit better. The problem is that I can not make my display run on the GPU, I right click on my desktop, press NVIDIA control panel, go to PHYS-X configuration, below "Select a PhysX processor" I use the dropdown menu and select my GPU (GeForce GT 820M), then apply the changes. It will shows in the NV control panel as my display is running on the GPU, but when I right click on my desktop> Display settings
