Hello, I recently bought a new Asus x509ja laptop, installed Windows 10, but I'm facing a very bad font/text rendering all around (blurry, vertically distorted etc.). From my online research I've found out this is a common issue with Windows 10. I'm a translator so I'll be staring at text most of the time (the text is distorted even in Word) . If I don't fix this issue in few days, this will be the second laptop I'm returning this year.
My display is 1920x1080, the GPU is integrated Intel. I have all the latest drivers properly installed, Windows updated, tried ClearType, xpexplorer (in fact, my fonts are blurry/distorted on every scaling percentage) and all sorts of other stuff, nothing worked.

In Word (2019) some characters in the text are randomly bolder (or parts of them are bolder, so they are different if they repeat even in the same word): https://i.snipboard.io/2RAexU.jpg
