Windows 11 Do I have to install windows 11 on my M.2 SSD drive if the original drive was never used?

So I recently ordered a brand new laptop (ASUS Vivobook S14 Flip), never been used, fresh out of the box. It has a 512GB SSD drive, and I ordered an M.2 2TB SSD drive to replace it. I've heard I'd have to install windows 11 on the new SSD drive when I'm swapping SSD drives. But this laptop already runs on windows 11 (windows 11 home, to be exact), and I haven't even turned on the laptop yet. Is it still necessary to install windows 11 on the new drive? If so, how would I do that? I plan on directly putting the ssd card in the motherboard itself before even starting the laptop. Is that a good i
