Windows 10 Do we still need MS visual C++ redistributable 2008 in the machines where it is already installed or we can uninstall & depend on latest available ve

The visual C++ redistributable 2008 is an older version of visual c++ among the redistributables available now , there has been security issues with the same where we are using 2008 version , so can we uninstall this or it might have some implications .. inputs needed here ..
