Windows 10 Does chkdsk x: /r exclude faulty sectors in partition x?

When I excute chkdsk x: /r where x is a partition letter on one of my disks, no errors are detected in Stages 1, 2, and 3. However, while looking for bad clusters in Stage 4, "Progress m of n" is suspended for some time, does this mean that a bad cluster is detected? The same problem occurs at the same clusters when the scan by chkdsk is repeated. Hence it does not seem that the problem is fixed.Stage 5 procees without any interrupton,At the end , the following message is shown: "Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems.
