Windows 11 Downloading problem with Photos app.

When accessing photos on File Explorer I have no problem opening the images in the Photos app but when I want to download images from my camera card I see a large white square with the 'Photos' logo in the top left-hand corner. This is a recent problem. I have tried downloading with different cards and using a USB storage device but the problem remains. I have also used the repair option in apps settings.Thanks.
