Windows 11 Downoading large zip from Brave browser to External HDD

Hi!I work in media and often need to download large zips of footage to am external hard drive.Every time I do this it wants to clear my browser cookies. Not a problem cleared.But what else happens is that my local C: drive all of a a sudden gets slow and says it has 0 storage space and that I need to free up storage. (C: drive is 240GB and had 57GB free upon download start)...even though I'm downloading to an external drive with 4 TB of free storage ...?Is there a caching process somewhere that needs to be taken into considerationPC Specs:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.
