Windows 11 Drop Shadows are back !!!! WHY ??? - Please get them removeable ?!

Latest W11 update has drop shadows as rthe default and they are not removeable by ANY usual means.What on earth are MS up to - they make the desktop icon names unreadable with anything other than a black background. The default should be that there ARE NO DROP SHADOWS !!When are MS going to fix this obvious problem?
