Windows 11 Dual Display Erorr

HiI am running a dual monitor set up at my office. My laptop is 4K and the aux monitor is 1080P. When I use the second monitor, it becomes my main monitor, showing all my desktop icons, despite my laptop monitor being allocated as the main in display settings. Additionally, some programs display at a pixel size appropriate for 1080 when dragged onto the laptop at 4K, making their menus and tools display at one quarter the physical size they should be, which is difficult to use.These problems don't occur with my home setup that uses two aux monitors at 1080P.
