Windows 10 DVD drive and HDD rack not working, detected both as "unknown device"

Hello, I am facing issues with my ASUS DVD ROM drive (DRW-1608P2S) and a ViPower SuperRack. I have plugged both in using 2 IDE to SATA adapters. They receive power, the DVD ROM opens and spins, and so does the hard drive inside of the rack, but they aren't detected in file explorer. All I see is two unknown devices in my disk drives section in device manager.I have a Gigabyte B550 gaming XV 2 motherboard that I have plugged the adapters into. I have Windows 10 Pro 22H2. The adapters work, they both have an LED that light up, and I have been told by the manufacturer of them that it is a softwar
