Windows 10 DVD player no longer plays media after Windows 10 upgrade

Tried to play a DVD on one of my laptops and found the DVD player won't play. The player is listed in device manager, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, still does not play. None of the DVD players function on any of my computers upgraded to Windows 10. Does anyone have a solution?
