Hello,
So I've been googling around for a while now and this is my last resort. I just bought these JBL Tune210 earphones (3.5mm) with an in-built microphone, but when I plug in the jack stick in my port on the laptop (Acer Aspire e15) it keeps using my internal laptop mic which is really buzzy and horrible. My laptop has 1 port for both the microphone & headset and I figured it was something with the PC settings, or more specifically Realtek. I've tried going into my Realtek program and changing settings, going to my recording devices through control panel.
I even just factory reset my PC hoping that It would give me the Realtek Audio popup where it asks if it's a headset, microphone, or headphones and I'm fairly certain I clicked hearphones & checked the "never show popup again", yes I've tried turning the popup on through the "i" icon in the realtek program etc. no luck.
Hope you can help me out.
