I need to figure out why my scanner in Windows 8 is telling me to connect a scanner!
I have had my Epson Workforce 2540 printer/fax/scanner connected via wifi to my laptop for over a year now and have never had a problem with it being recognized/connected. Any ideas would be helpful...not too computer savvy but...
I checked the network settings of control panel/printer as well as tested the connection to the scanner which was successful, but when I open the scan tile it tells me to connect a scanner, yet has no menu or option (even if I right click...nothing) to connect it...not to mention, why is it not connected anymore...I can still print with no problem.
