Windows 11 Error installing updates KB5042099 (2024-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64), and (KB5041585)

While installing the new update, upon the restart my Bios (HP omen specifically) popped up with an "something is wrong, attempting to repair BIOS" message, and eventually the windows 11 maintenance/boot option screen appeared, I then proceeded to start windows 11, and it automatically reverted to a previous version before the update.
