Windows 10 Escaping family safety restrictions

I am trying to either remove the restrictions on our searches or even just remove us from our family group, but none of the 'buttons' your instructions tell me to use are there. The restrictions are limiting me for my work and my son for his studies. I have added the family safety app to my phone, but the slider to remove content filters will not slide! Judging by the number of people asking about this it is not just me , but a larger problem.
