Many threads open on this issue here at Microsoft and at specific printer manufacturers. No fix. The printer randomly spits out a page saying "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host: localhost". This happens several times a day but it's slow enough that one doesn't know if one has fixed it so some folks think it's fixed but it apparently isn't. I've tried a number of the suggested fixes such as power cycling the computer and/or printer, restarting spooler, no luck.I haven't read all the threads, there are too many.We need a Microsoft person to provide a resolution.
