Windows 10 Ethernet cable is not working.

Hello, for the past couple weeks, I've been trying to use my ethernet and it is not connecting, the port on my pc is constantly glowing orange and I have tried to restart my pc, use windows offline scan (thought it was a virus), and even turned off the router a couple of times, still not connecting, is there any solution for this?
