When I pluged the ethernet cable in my pc, my pc shut down (without shutdown screen so It was instantly off (I hope not, but maybe a short circuit?). So I removed the ethernet cable and started the pc. And then I pluged the ethernet cable again and now ethernet doesn't work anymore (wifi does work and the cable does also work, because I tested the ethernet cable on another pc and it worked so it is not the cable nor the router). Any ideas of how to fix this and make ethernet work again or did I damage something in the pc and was it a short circuit?
