Windows 7 Event Viewer and Disk Management Give Conflicting Details Regarding Drive Health

I've experienced multiple external USB drive backup failures recently (many were 10+ years old) so I've started paying more attention to disk health.I've noticed that Event Viewer and Disk Management don't always agree with each other in terms of disk health. For instance, I received the below error messages in Event Viewer for one of the drives today. However, when I check Disk Management, the drive in question shows "Healthy Partition". Now I'm confused...is it healthy or do I need to run a Full Check Disk as Event Viewer suggests?Level Date and Time Source Event ID Task CategoryError 7/3
