Windows 10 Everytime i call somebody or someone calls me, the speakers on my laptop get muted

Everytime i make a skype,whatsapp call on my laptop it keeps saying microphone/speakers muted and i have to restart my laptop all the time when it happens. I tried updating my microphone but nothing works.
