Windows 10 External monitor of precision M6500 not displaying anything but properly connected with displays extended.

Hello, I have a precision M6500 and I was trying to connect it with an external monitor through VGA cable. It runs windows 10 OS and I have tried installing different drivers and tried to connect it with other monitors with other VGA cables but had the same result. It shows the displays and detects it too but doesn't display anything on the external monitor and I also made sure that the displays are extended. Would anyone know how I can fix this?
