Hello,

I'm having this weird issue and I cannot find anywhere a solution. I'm using a Win10 Laptop which has 4K screen 60hz! I attach an HDMI 4k cable to my external 4K monitor and it mirrors the 3840x2160 native content to my 2nd screen like normal at 4k.

BUT! When I choose "Use only the 2nd screen", it uses 2560x1440 on my external 4k monitor and I cannot choose any other resolution! The dropdowns at the Display Settings page are blank. They are not grayed out. They just don't have values inside.

The Nvidia control panel shows that my laptop's card streams at 3840x2160 on my 2nd monitor but that is not true because you can see it returned to 2k and not 4k as it says.

Why it uses 4k only when I mirror the laptop's Primary 4k Screen but fails to stream 4k when I choose "use only the 2nd monitor"? Why does it turn the stream down to 2k but states that is using 4k???

Things I tried:

1) GPU drivers updated

2) Intel onboard graphic adapter updated

3) Monitor is Samsung 4k latest model recently bought and driver updated

4) Tried with DP cable

5) Tried with a latest version expensive HDMI cable that supports 60hz

6) Tried a DVI cable

7) Tried thunderbolt to HDMI and Thunderbolt to DP cables

8) Windows and all software is updated to latest versions

I understand it is a software issue. Is this a bug? Do I miss something? Help me :-(
