So, when I try to start my PC, it takes about an hour. Then I tried to go to recovery options (I disabled windows RE, so I have to boot up from my installation media. When I boot from my windows installation DVD, it hangs up at the purple background, and wouldn't show the window. It is just the purple background and nothing else. I have a windows 10 DVD, and I tried booting from that, but the same thing happens. My laptop is a 2017 dell inspiron 15 inch, which I believe has a 7th gen intel i5 with kaby lake graphics. Also, it has 8 gb RAM, 256 gb M.2 PCIe SSD, and a 1TB SATA HDD.
