Windows 11 File dialog window makes most program on Windows 11 freeze

Very often when I try to open a file dialog window in any program om Windows 11, that program freeze. I then have to stop it running via Task Manager. This happens when I do a Save As in Photoshop, when I download a file in a web browser and open a file dialog to download it to a specific place, when I try to upload files via a file dialog window in a Browser and in many other cases.It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to make it a real nuisance and showstopper. How can this be fixed? Is it a known bug?
