Windows 10 File Explorer - browser locks while files 'count down and disappear', until it gets to last file, than I can use the file browser again.

Windows 1-0, happens on both my home and work pcs. The only shared programs are winamp and Clipgrab.I use a lot of audio files for work (mps, wav). I'll get times where opening a folder with music files (have also seen this with video and photo files), the file detail will slowly disappear one by one, from top to bottom. One it reaches the last file, the browser unlocks and is usable again. Quite the pain for any folder with more than a few, not to mention a few thousand. It feels like the files are being indexed somehow, as the second time I open the same folder it doesn't usually happen agai
