Windows 11 File in file explorer moves to bottom of list when modified

When working on a PDF, when the file is saved, it will jump to the bottom of the list of files in explorer. This is disruptive when working on files in a large folder. The folder is sorted by name, so there is seemingly no reason for them to move when the modified date changes.
