On a (somewhat) older windows 10 machine, with a USB printer I do the following:- Turn off the printer - Send a print job from e.g. notepad - Copy the SPL & SHD files from the spooler folder - Cancel the print job from the queue (shd,spl files are deleted) - Turn off spooler service - copy SPL,SHD files to spooler folder - turn priner on - turn on the spooler service Result: files are printed.Remark: the reason for this tedious process is to simulate the logic of an application that sends printing jobs. So I just want to drop print files in the spool folder so they will be printed
