Windows 10 Files show on cd on old laptop but not my new one

So I have a CD that has photos on. When I put it into my old laptop with disc drive it shows all the folders and is call 'Photos August 2010' (Win10 is still installed though) When I put the same CD in my new laptop disc drive, half of the folders are missing and the name has changed to 'July 2009'What is going on and how can I get them to show on the CD in my new laptop? Thank so much in advance
