Windows 10 Finding MP4 files

For some reason when I take out my SD card out of my Sony FX6 Camera and upload the card to my PC the files does not come up as MP4 anymore. The files say MXF now. How do I get my files back to MP4? Without using encoder? Is adobe encoder free?
