Windows 11 fingerprint not working in windows 11

I have just updated to windows 11 but my fingerprint is not working.I tried to set up fingerprint recognition in windows hello as password but it is showing "This option is currently unavailable" and under this it is showing "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello fingerprint but in my previous version to Windows 10 it was perfectly working.
