Windows 11 Fix problems using Windows update - recovery option

Hello,I have a few questions about "fix problems using Windows update":How does it work?Will all my data (documents, apps...) be kept?Does using this option count as a clean install - does it enable features like smart app control? Or should I use the reset option to get that option?Does Windows activate after this procedure?Thank you for your help
