Hi guys,

Battling random hanging problem. It's been a real rabbit hole.

I thought at first that the hanging was trigger by my GPU as it usually occurred if I tried to play a game, but it also happens randomly doing not very much. I know I have a bottleneck with the GPU being too weak for the processor, but can that cause hanging?

I also thought that the power supply is about 5 years old, so just in case, I've swapped it out with a new one and I still get a hanging issue. Before I throw more money on hardware, I wanted to make sure that everything is good with the software side...

On trying to run the DISM - restorehealth in CMD, I get 0x800f081f error

I then found this - https://www.wintips.org/fix-dism-0x800f081f-error-in-windows-10-8/

All is good up to the point of running - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

I then get -

Error: 2

The system cannot find the file specified.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Any guidance?

Wish I'd stayed on Win7...
