Windows 11 Freezing in fullscreen

My Windows 11 laptop often has problems freezing when in full screen applications. When it does, I am typically still able to move the mouse and hear any audio already playing, but can not interact with anything. Closing and reopening does not fix anything, and requires a forced shut down How can I fix this?I'm unsure what details to give about the the device
