Windows 10 Fresh install Windows 10 Pro on HP laptop 840 G1. Lost Screen Adjustment by using Function Keys F9 & F10, all other Function keys work correctly.

I have recently (last two days) Installed a Brand new SSD into my HP 840 G1 laptop and also a totally clean fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro (64 Bit).The HP laptop can control screen brightness by using the Function Keys F9 & F10, I have used this way to control brightness for as long as I have owned the laptop which is many years. I now cannot control screen brightness using these Function Keys and after speaking with HP and ensuring I have all the latest Drivers, Firmware etc and with Microsoft Support still cannot. All the other Function Keys work correctly; has this ability to use
