Windows 10 Game bar UI won't show in fullscreen Rocket League but still functions

Whenever I try to bring up the UI for game bar by pressing windows key + g nothing happens. If I alt tab out of Rocket league and onto my desktop for example and press windows key + g the UI appears with a the UI and a message saying "Xbox Game Bar isn't supported for this game's current settings. Choosing full screen borderless in your game's video settings might do the trick."I can still record 30 seconds of video and start and stop recording, I just don't get the notifications or overlay anymore.This never happened before, just a few days ago game bar was working fine with rocket league.
