Windows 7 Getting an error in the windows machine connected with National Instruments NI PXIe-1082. Error is "Windows explorer has stopped working".

The NI instrument is currently connected only to a monitor and does not have a separate computer system unit (CPU) with Windows 7 OS. But the error is popping up continuously as "Windows explorer has stopped working" and it doesn`t allow us to use the NI instrument softwares. Highly appreciate a suggestion or possible solution to resolve this issue.
