Windows 10 Goodix fingerprint reader rarely works

New ROG Zephyus (ASUS) gaming laptop. Windows 10: Problem: Goodix fingerprint reader rarely works. I have reinstalled it, I have made sure drivers are updated. Is is something with Hello?
