On my Win 7 Pro 64-bit (on my home Dell Optiplex which also dual-boots Win 10 Pro 64-bit), I ran Microsoft Safety Scanner for the first time. (Version 1.0.3001.0.)
It says that HackTool:Win32/LSASecretsView.BH has NOT been removed.
What should I do?
Here's a link to the results: < LINK TO WORD DOC SHOWING RESULTS >
I'll now run a complete Avast reboot scan, but I'm guessing Avast won't find it, as it had not stopped it before.
Detail - since my PC dual-boots the Win 7 (on which this occurred) and Win 10, I'm not sure where Microsoft Safety Scanner found the malware - on the running Win 7 side or in the Win 10 partition?
WARNING - Andre and the other tech "community helper" scam artists should NOT reply to this question unless they are posting the specific step-by-step fix. Otherwise, I will report them again and again ask MS to ban them from this forum.
But if you have the answer, I'm all ears.
Thanks.
